§ [DnD][4e] 危険要因『世界の悪意』
昨日のプレイレポートで島から脱出するくだりに使った技能チャレンジにちょっと汎用性を持たせて公開するですぅ。
最初は高レベルのクリーチャーから追われるようなものにしようかと思ったけど、世界そのものが悪意をぶつけてくるなら危険要因にしたために、プレイヤへ戦いようがなく“逃げる”ものだという意思表示ができ、結果的に短時間でうまく遭遇を回せたという感想ですぅ。
世界の悪意
次元界そのものがある一定の意思を持って侵入者や脱出しようとする者に襲い掛かる時、それは世界の悪意という名の危険要因となる。天からは無形の圧力が加えられあらゆるものがへし折れ、動きを縛られ、認識は歪められて次元界からの脱出はきわめて困難なものとなる。
この危険要因を使用する場合、遭遇エリアには見たままの様子とは違うマスをいくつか用意し、技能チャレンジの進行度合いによって真の姿を見せるようにしてもよいだろう。

次元界から脱出する
君たちは危険な次元界で目的を達成し、あとは脱出するだけという段までこぎつけた。しかし、何かがおかしい。迷宮の中でもないというのに、同じような場所を延々と回っているような気がする。
セットアップ
この技能チャレンジは危険要因“世界の悪意”により、次元界そのものがキャラクターを閉じ込めようとしてくる中で脱出を試みる技能チャレンジである。戦闘遭遇と同時に進行してもよいだろう。
レベル:13
複雑度:4(3回失敗する前に10回成功しなければならない)
主要技能:〈魔法学〉
〈運動〉(難易度20、移動アクション):これは移動と同時に行なえる。本来の地形通りに歩むことで、世界の悪意を振り払う。失敗した場合、伏せ状態となる。1ターンに1回のみ行なえる。
〈看破〉(難易度20、標準アクション):世界の悪意によって歪められた正しい認識を取り戻し、味方を導く。29以上で成功した場合、通常のものに加えてさらに成功数を+1する。
〈持久力〉(難易度14、即応・対応):トリガー:世界の悪意による攻撃がキャラクターにヒットした。トリガーが発生したキャラクター全員が即応・対応を使用して行ない、全員が成功すればパーティは1つの成功を得る。痛みに耐え、世界の悪意に屈しない心意気を見せつける。
〈宗教〉(難易度20、標準アクション):世界の悪意を慰撫するために祈る。
〈地下探検〉(難易度20、標準アクション):異形クリーチャーを見慣れたその鑑識眼で世界の悪意によって歪められた部分を喝破する。29以上で成功した場合、通常のものに加えてさらに成功数を+1する。
〈魔法学〉(難易度20;標準アクション):世界の悪意が攻撃に使ってくる魔力を中和し、道を切り拓く。29以上で成功した場合、通常のものに加えてさらに成功数を+1する。
“見えざる手”への攻撃(特別):仲間をつかんだ見えざる手を攻撃する。インヴィンジブル・ハンドによってつかみ状態になっている仲間のマスに攻撃を行なうことで、世界の悪意が伸ばした見えざる手を攻撃できる。見えざる手はすべての防御値が25で、あらゆるダメージに完全耐性を持つ。攻撃がヒットした場合、そのマスにいる仲間のインヴィンジブル・ハンドによるつかみ状態は解除される。
副次技能:〈交渉〉、〈知覚〉、その他
〈交渉〉(難易度20、標準アクション):世界の悪意に立ち向かう仲間の心を安らかにし、眼前の作業に集中させる。次に目標が行なう主要技能の判定に+2のボーナスを得る。この判定に失敗しても、失敗には数えられない。
〈知覚〉(難易度20、マイナー・アクション):世界の悪意によって認識が歪められていそうな箇所を特定する。次に自分が行なう〈運動〉、〈看破〉、〈地下探検〉、あるいは〈魔法学〉の判定に+2のボーナスを得る。この判定に失敗しても、失敗には数えられない。
“世界の目”への攻撃(特別):遭遇エリアに存在する世界の目に攻撃をヒットさせることで、世界の悪意は次のターン終了時まですべてのアクションを行えなくなる(世界の悪意の対抗手段参照)。この攻撃がミスしても、失敗には数えられない。
成功:世界の悪意を跳ね除けることができた。世界の悪意は次の小休憩終了時まで停止する。
失敗:世界の悪意は君たちの認識を蝕み、肉体を苛み続ける。次の小休憩ではヒット・ポイントを回復するための回復力が通常の2倍必要となる。
